......one month. That's how long this took me. Sure it was on and off but Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh I think most of my enthusiasm died 2-3 weeks in. But tonight I put in another 3 hours of straight work and finished it! Time to try and recapture some of that enthusiasm GEH! DX
A lot of this was practice/ a learning experience. I had never painted a galaxy or planets before and it was pretty meticulous work (but I think if/when I do it again I'll be way faster now that I understand the slow building nature of the parts.) It taught me some new blending techniques which I'm gonna utelize in my next project which won't be fanart (Yay! X'D ). I have also learne dthat when it comes to drawing/painting cities that I can drive myself insane by not using line art. So that's a thing.
Despite the length of time I spent on this piece, I still like it and I still adore these two weirdos - respective "royalty" of their worlds. They're probably one of my favourite pairings of all time and its been fun drawing the both of them. Methinks the next time I draw them, though it'll be more doodle-ey =w=
