So, as I said in my jpurnal the other day, I'm making a few gift pictures for a few people (Which doubles as a great way to reinvigorate my Photoshop skills!) and this is the first completed one.
Long ago, Foxy Stallion was admiring my "Archer Wolf" picture, and I had intended to draw him a similar picture, but never got around to it prior to my sabbatical... Well, better late than never? ;)
Enjoy!

Wow! Thank you very much - I love it!! It has the same dynamic implacable determination of your Archer - and reminds me of the hero in "V For Vendetta!", too. My mind is totally blown! Very dramatic, both character and background. I did a double take when I saw those fur lined boots; they are identical to the ones that I am wearing right now!
I am awfully glad that you are creating digital art again! You are sooo good at it!! Do you have a tablet now or are you still creating miracles with a mouse?

ooh, what a great picture! the pose is amazing, and the atmosphere adds greatly to it. his expression is so dead-serious!
did you have a photo for the background? it looks like a sky from a different earth...
all you need now is adding more contrast and sharper edges to starnds of hair and fur, and folds of clothing. and his tail looks like a spray of white-hot steel dust falling down... probably was intentional.
great work!
