Hey there guys, some more new artwork I worked on this week. Holy crap guys, am I very excited with this one. :dummy: Well, I decided to take on another fan art project for some side work and wanted to show some <b>much needed</b> love to one of my all time favorite Playstation heroes. So without further ado, my next fanart tribute is going to be Spyro the Dragon. Like a lot of kids, I grew up with Spyro in the 90s. Spyro the Dragon was one of my first games I ever played on a console (I got Spyro and Crash Bandicoot at the same time). I just loved the game so much but unfortunately, me and my brother never made it past the level called "Toasty" as that place scared the dickens of us at the time (hey, we were 8 xD) and we only got up to the Dream Weavers world. Of course, when I re-bought the game, I was able to complete it all, including getting all the stolen treasure. :D Unfortunately, I have yet to this day play Ripto's rage... I've only played the first one, Year of the Dragon, A Heroes Tail, and A New Beginning. Indeed, Spyro has come a long way but I'll always love the classics the best.

The classic games really had a big impact on me and my art. Seeing the way they did the worlds, the <b>AWESOME</b> music, and just the overall interaction of the characters. It was just simply out of this world in my mind at the time.

Anyway, onto Spyro. How can you not love that purple dragon and his little sparkling buddy? I do think that it was nice that they let Spyro interact with friends and become more nicer over the time while still keeping his attitude toward baddies. ;) It was very interesting drawing him as I don't draw dragons all that much so I'm very happy how he turned out here and I definitely want to draw him more. Believe me, I was very scared of drawing him because I thought he'd look horrible in my style but I was able to come up with something... Decent? With that said, I hope he looks okay in my style and I hope you enjoy as well. Thanks for viewing and stay tuned for more work coming soon! :-D
