Silver painting commission for 
Bingthewolf. I'll admit it, I took this one on because challenges are healthy for artists and I don't challenge myself nearly often enough - and indeed, it was a challenge! But I think it came out well in the end, with the help of Bing's excellent reference material and pointers along the way. Good joint effort! :D

Tragic that there will be no more Mermaid Mans- unless they have someone try to do his voice. The actor that plays him, Earnest Borgnine, passed away sometime in this last year.
Sponge Bob, on the whole, went down once the creator stopped writing and left the show. That's really too bad- it had such great angles on comedy. Do you remember "My Pretty Sea Horse" when Mystery was tied up outside the Krusty Krab? Two guys thought she was a kiddie ride- and tried to deposit a quarter in her "coin slot!" Oh my god, how that made it past the censors is beyond me, but I just roll even thinking about it.
Well I guess we have derailed this poor persons post for long enough! Glad to know there is another S.B. fan out there!

I totally know what you mean. The kids shows I grew up with were SO slow-paced compared to the ones now, the characters would just kinda bumble around to a classical-music background and the most alarming event would be one of them falling in a puddle or something XD
Reminds me about the "Suisse Vapeur Parc", wich is awesome. ^^

I'm still in love with this piece and I show it to a lot of my reallife colleagues and they al ask me where this "photograph" is taken :P When I tell them it's a drawing, they're all suprised!
