Floraverse-The Statue of Madame Bisma Brittlewright
"There are many folktales and rumors among the world, one you might of heard of is the dark tale of Madame Bisma Brittlewright. A rockcandy of great renown but also a great shame."
"Bisma Brittlewright was raised in a family of High Blood Nobles who controlled several rich mines and quarries. Her Father believed one was only as strong as he was rich, and she took to these teachings possibly far to well. From young age to adulthood she was given everything she could possibly want, but it seemed it was never enough. She didn't want more, she NEEDED more. On a sad day there was an Accident in one of the mines during a routine inspection that claimed her Fathers Life, and her mother strangely fell to sickness in bed not long after. Leaving the daughter Bisma alone to run the large estate the family had left her."
"Bisma took to running the business like a pro but with some changes that some would consider, incorrect. She payed her servants and workers less, claiming ludicrous taxes on anything. Any workers who complained or went to see her in person seemed to not complain again or worse were never seen,as the months went by rumors began to circulate that Bisma's love for wealth and gold had become a sickness in her head."
"The Many rumors found home as it was discovered that Bisma began to research something called Alchemy for she learned of the art of Transmutation, the famous legend of Alchemy of turning Lead into Gold. She desired to learn this art to increase her wealth 10 fold by not just mining for gold, but creating it."
"Not a year went by till a dark story came about from a crazed servant, claiming Bisma had changed one of the workers into a statue of gold for complaining about poor wages and cruel hours,at first this was dismissed and later the servant in question simply disappeared, but as more and more workers began simply not coming into work or ever being heard from again, tensions began to rise among Bisma's large disgruntled workforce....till one night."
"A riot had broken out at the Mines and reached all the way to the Large Brittlewright estate, angry servants and workers rebelled hatefully at there treatment and fueled by the stories and disappearance of the others. Its unclear what had happened that night but the mansion of the Brittlewrights, there great house was no more, the property was burned to the ground and anything of value was ransacked and stolen by the mob."
"One thing was clear at the end of the terrible night,Madame Brittlewright was nowhere in sight, not even a body was found,no property was left on that Estate, save for a Statue of Madame Brittlewright herself looking quite displeased. It still sits there to this very day, superstitious rumors fly around it saying that touching the statue will instill you with Madame Brittlewright's Sickness of avarice."
"But its all just rumors and stories,no one can be sure, lest you know for yourself what happened on that very night."
*******
So yeah Madame Brittlewright wasn't a good person, least a statue was left in the wake of the fires, man that looks life like. ANYWAY i like how this picture turned out to be honest.
I seem to have a knack for creating villians so far, though this is more of like a ghost story or something i guess?
This was also my first time drawing something gold that actually looked gold?
lol.....I can't write but i knew it needed a story.
