Taffy 3 in October 25, 1944 were probably just as scared as they faced the IJN central task force. The Battle off Samar, I believe.

Oh no, never forget the hermans. Even american vets from the beaches remind us that even they fought. They lost too, they lost so many. There are two sides to every conflict. At least 2. And this is no exception.
