This is a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fanfiction thats more inspired by the same universe then directly set in it. Take it as you will.
Its about an overweight, retired adventurer Pikachu named Peak who lives with his sister Chi in a village inhabited by Pokémon akin to the one seen in Red/Blue Rescue Team. Its set to contain an awesome adventure, some fat Pokemon, and a unique look at the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe so please go ahead and read if it sounds like something you'd be interested in.
This is my first time writing a series of fan fiction rather then something individual, and I suspect it may come out a little rough around the edges. Please leave any comments/questions/errors you found/constructive criticism/etc. in the comments below. Thanks for taking the time to read my stories, and I hope you're in for an awesome time!
“Come on Slowpoke!” Chi giggled, running up the hill.
Peak breathed heavily, slowly lumbering behind her. He went to look down to where his aching feet would be, but in truth the large Pikachu had not seen his feet while standing for years with his ever expanding stomach growing in front of him. “Hey, don’t call me a Slowpoke!” Peak yelled up to his sister.
She stopped abruptly and turned around cheekily. “Oh sorry, Snorlax”
Now that was too far. With a short growl, Peak let out a bolt of lightning that struck the ground in front of his sister. With a small eek, she rolled back head over heels once down the hill.
Peak snickered, causing his full cheeks to puff out. The weight he accumulated over the years had no effect on his sharp special attacking skills he had obtained as an adventurer years prior. His physical attack skills on the other hand; well, it would be quite the struggle to land a Quick Attack now with his barely mobile status.
Chi stood up again with an indignant sniff in Peak’s direction and ran ahead over the top of the hill. Peak sighed, and with a groan continued his ascent.
Ever since Pokémon began to work together in building the village, Peak and Chi have begun living an easier life. As a kid, Peak had been left all alone with a newly hatched Chi and he had had to fight for their survival in the harsh world they once lived in. They were close to starving when they had a faithful encounter with a rag-tag bunch of wandering Pokémon. After hearing of their plans to form a small colony in a previously untamed land, Peak and Chi joined their party and set off.
When the party learned of Peak’s survival skills, they immediately placed him as part of their Survival Party, who was going to risk life and limb in helping to colonize the land where they were too build the village. It was a bit jarring to have all these Pokémon suddenly turn to him for help after looking after himself for so long, but he eventually came to take pride in his position.
As part of being part of the Survival Party, Peak also had to learn how to fight. Though Peak had some practice scaring away other wild Pokémon when scavenging for food, learning to properly fight turned out to be a grueling process. The other Pokémon were relentless, having much more experience than him but cutting him no slack. Many times Peak would be beaten unconscious, later waking up revived by the party’s Chansey with his infant sister looking on curiously with her guardian Kangaskhan nearby. Despite this, Peak kept practicing and finally could hold his own with the other fighters in the party, something that had ultimately served him well when it had came to colonizing the land that was now their home...
As Peak pulled himself over the top of the hill, he stood up only to see something fly at him. Quickly, he jumped away from the ledge and attacker, but as he landed he felt his weight continuing to pull him backward. He desperately dug his feet into the ground and tried to balance himself, but he only held suspended off balance for a few seconds before his weight ultimately pulled him down to the ground. With an audible thump, as well as a loud clap, Peak fell on his back, groaning, looking up at the swell of his stomach jiggling above him.
He then heard a high pitched giggle. “CHI!” He yelled, trying to immediately jump up to his feet, but being suspended by his heavy body mass pinning him down he only managed to straighten himself partially up, before falling back down and causing another wave of jiggling to pass through his body.
“Did I get you brother?” Peak heard her cockily ask somewhere in front of him. With a concealed groan, Peak pulled himself into a sitting position, his legs spread apart to accommodate his large stomach (which he later embarrassedly realized was something Snorlax’s do as well).
“Chi! Were you trying to kill me? I could have fallen off that cliff!” He shouted, static spouting from his round cheeks.
“Sorry. But come on! The place I wanted to show you is just over here.” Chi said quickly, running off.
Peak sighed, and with another groan twisted his feet to underneath his bulk and stood up. Seeing his sister just a few yards ahead, Peak half jogged-half waddled to where she was, an embarrassingly short excursion that none the less left Peak bending over out of breath.
“Brother, look.” Chi said gently. Looking up, Peak drew in a breath, and not just because he was tired from running.
Where Chi had taken Peak was an entire outlook of the village the party had made. Closest to them, by the forest as Chi had wanted, was their home. Like most of the Pokémon’s residents in town, their house was modelled after themselves baring the pointed ears and red cheeks of a Pikachu’s head. Further on was the main square, where even from their far off vantage point the small shapes of various Pokémon could be seen bobbing around the village.
The closest building to their home was Kecleon’s shop that sold all general day to day necessities from TMs to furniture to food (an unintended advantage to Chi’s wish to be close to the forest was for Peak to be in easy walking distance to Kecleon’s). Further out, was Kangaskhan’s Bank, who guarded both young Pokémon as well as money and items, Makuhita’s Dojo, where various Pokemon go to train (something Peak had been meant to start doing but never did), and the Chansey Infirmary, where wounded Pokémon were treated. Those main stores seemed to generally meet the simple lifestyle of the Pokémon of the village, and the only other building that was non residential was Pelipper’s Post Office, which lay on the far end of the square, and was rarely used anyways with the lack of adventures needing undertaking.
“Wow Chi! This is amazing!” Peak said, fatty rolls crinkling on his neck as he turned his head to look down at her.
“I know.” She replied happily, her eyes closed in contentment.
“We should tell the others about this place, and we could all hold some sort of party up here!” Peak thought, thinking of how the villagers could hold a celebration for anything. A celebration with food...
“Well actually,” Chi said suddenly turning serious. “I think I’d like to keep this place between us. It’s nice to have a sort of secret place, y’know?” She asked, sitting down on the grass.
“Oh yeah... I guess.” Peak said, secretly disappointed. He sat down beside her. From behind his figured dwarfed hers in comparison, being almost 3 times as wide but only around a head taller.
They sat for a while, watching the town together in silence.

Ugh! I'm sorry to hear that :(
I've edited the descriptions of my entries currently submitted to include the story as I have seen done by other writers on here. All the same, I would recommend those who can do so to download the word document itself as it is much better formatted.
