I went through 2 books and a pile of german Wikipedia articles, and reworked the organization scheme of the Reich to be more "properly" reminiscent of what we had on earth. And then took the hammer to adapt it to the realities inside the story ( no effective outward enemy, almost unlimited space and ressources ) and tuned it for some goosebumpy scaryness that still is realistic in the way that it either could work - or, actually, worked and sometimes even still works in places all over the earth.
If I do write those stories, I want to have things right from the start.
Which includes being uncomfortably scary and creepy in some aspects.
I'll be doing organigrams / organizational charts for Asgard, the Reich, the Church and the Allied Sultanates soon.
Things are easy for all other groups: They're either anarchists, kibbuz-type socialists or the tribal / family type.
Or "not applicable" - which accounts in part for the habitats of the Asgardians which are for administrative purposes seeing themselves as "one body".
And I want to see the human that seriously talks of himself as a centralistic monarchy or a federal republic.
Okay, there are that kind of people... but like with the habitats AC's when they're awake, talking with them seriously about that topic will give the average human headaches.
Talking with a habitat AI about organisations will be likewise a toothache:
"default action" or "highest probability of long-term advantages for the habitat / the habitats" <= latter is one of the things you might hope to never hear: It might mean the habitat you're talking about is going to blow itself up for the greater good of all other habitats.
