Somedays I just randomly feel like sitting around at night in my fursuit. Windows open...Cool-temp room...fur.. ^.^ So I decided to take a picture with my recently finished 445nm laser, as it makes my UV fur glow :3

I'm dying to know... What do you use at the other end of the room to prevent burning a hole through the wall to the kitchen and setting fire to the Thanksgiving turkey?

Hand held so its not gona burn anything. if I set it on my desk so the beam is on one spot, not moving around, then it only takes a few seconds to start smoking.. hehe

How much did everything for that laser cost?

Prob about 120 for parts and 20 for metal. So under $150

Unlike green lasers that run $1 per mw. I know I can get a diode that'll do 7W of blue max. But the cost of that diode is $300..... these run a hundred for a raw diode. Older models run 50 bucks for 1W thatll do 2W but limited life
