Hes a lil river otter, and Matilda is a giant red kangaroo. She outweighs him about 20 to one!

I like to play with the dynamics that the natural IRL size of the species would create. There are no 6 foot tall otters in my world. Ober stands about 24 inches, and Matilda is taller than an average adult human male. She had an easy time making Ober her "joey". Have you ever seen how much joey fits in those pouches? Its like a pocket universe in there…

She also doesn't respect Ober. With how she treats him.

I'm not gonna lie, I wish more artists did this. It's something delightfully fun that you don't often see in the fandom, but it can add so much to scenes.

Matilda took it off when she was giving him his change, and left it on the floor. She wasn't in the mood to dress him back up in it. And at this point, Ober just wants to escape, so he isn't going to bother with anything that has a back zipper…

She has whatever she used to dress her son in, and I think quite few of her little joey's jammies would have had zippers up the back.

Quick summary, then: Ober has been staying at Matilda's house since she picked him up at a local gathering place for babyfurs. She has been playing host to him since then. For the most part, he has been enjoying himself, but a couple of times, he has gotten on to Matilda's bad side.
