Took me a while to know the character Hexxus. I may not have gotten scared of him, but I can understand why someone can fear him. Just like you, I saw the movie when I was little and thought it was rather cool based on the story and characters. Something I was scared of was the dark when I was little. My parents made sure they had a good supply of nightlights so I could sleep soundly.

Something that truely got me scared when I was little was when I slept in my bed then somehow sleepwalked somewhere else. I was confused at first, but the darkness got me scared to move an inch. Once I worked up courage to move, I accidentally fell down the stairs. This happened after I thought was over darkness.
