Dusklaw, the Tauren. Druidic skin-shifter. Vicious and unyielding in battle. Moderate and logical in defeat. Mother of two who has not seen bloodshed in over two years. Her hide is of only a simple black, much more dull than her mate's, who sports a motley of browns and tans. She often sits, watching over her two children (one almost five now, how the time flies), thinking of those few years when her husband was gone in battle. But they were together now, with the children. The summer nights were long. Nature thrummed all around them. Dusk, for the first time in a long time, felt at peace.
There is a lot of story stuff I could write for Dusk. I played WoW for nearly 5 years straight, and my main character (the only one I ever got to max level) was Dusklaw. She was a feral tauren druid - mostly cat druid in raids, but usually bear when it came to dungeons. My best friend and I started the game around the same time; his main was a resto druid (also tauren), and even though we didn't have any romance in real life it eventually became “canon” that our characters were married in the game. Given how much we played with each other, raided together, and quested together, it just seemed natural. XD
I guess its a little weird that we actually came up with a story for our two druids, but since we sunk so much time into the two of them I thought it was really appropriate. When I quit WoW before my friend did he came up with the idea that Dusk had a baby. It made total sense and explained why Dusk, a more serious and vicious character than Bug, would drop out of the fight before he did. Now neither of us play so I like to imagine the two of them raising a family somewhere peaceful. If only internet characters were real! How sweet would that be. <3

It really was a game you needed to get into when it first came out. There was nothing else like it at the time (besides Everquest, which was more obscure) and so the experience was completely new. It really captured your imagination, because the whole world was so HUGE! There was so much to do and see!
In my opinion over time its gotten a lot worse, though I do randomly miss it from time to time anyway. XD

I also played Druid more than any other class. How can you say no to a class that can do ANYTHING!? The tauren druid I think was a little less pleasing to most people because of their horns in each form, but I actually kind of liked that aspect. (Though imo the NE moonkin totally kicked the ass of the cow version, visually.) XD
I really do like all-rounders, but that's why I'm so often called a n00b. In fact... oh dear.... Shin Megami Tensei Imagine!
That game!!! Argh! You're told to invest all stat points into just 1 stat. Argh, I hate that!
I can't really tell about Taurens, perhaps I just liked the night elf colors more, both of the night elfs, as well as their starting area. The latter was a big factor to me, because..... as much as I've seen proffesional MMO players say that one can reach level 20 (which is when the free trial ends) within a day, I played for 3 months and still wasn't level 20.... so I am staying in those starting areas for a while!

SOOOOO true. When I leveled my first character especially I stayed in areas for what seemed like ages... the Barrens nearly destroyed my eyeballs by the end of it. SO. MUCH. ORANGE.
As for Shin Megami Tensei Imagine, I have NEVER heard of that game before! Any game that has you invest all of your points into 1 stat doesn't sound like a very well balanced experience, heh. But who knows, I imagine there is a way you could do it where it'd be fun - though whether that MMO did it I have no idea. XD

I suppose I would have more variety if I was a gunner. Those are said to have plenty ways to go, and are much easier to solo, but I don't like to use guns or ranged ammunition requiring weapons in games, so it really did not sit well with me. Instead a played an enhancer, that is a supportive healer mage. I bought a lot of things to optimize myself, had everything put into 1 attribute, but people still bad mouthed me, because I didn't have the cash shop equipment on me. I really didn't want to spend real money on it, so I figured I'd farm the cash to buy it from other players, but... I needed 1 month of farming to get the stat reset items, and for the gear I'd need 2 months, and that's when I gave up!
Even when years later I got back in again and was told that there's a new option for an all rounder like me, it was such a slow drag to level that I quit anyway.
There are many MMOs that got easier after years of being games only for the elite. Many people complain that the games now stink, but ........ I cannot complain! I am so tired of not managing anything and people making fun of me, calling me a n00b!
