Chuong: 900 years sounds about the time it took for my country to become its own nation. The Chinese, Mongolian, French, and Japanese empires tried to claim us and yet through all those years, we fought them off. That doesn't include pirates who try to invade my country from what is now Malaysia and Indonesia.
Flame: I wouldn't have known that since this world wasn't my home at first. The difference is that your people had a purpose and knew what they were fighting for. This war was absolutely worthless, and too many died in vain, even if the military still does hold funerals honoring all who died.
