Composed in FL Studio 8 with Nexus synthesizer, royalty free Zenhiser samples and mastered in Adobe Audition with Maximus and various standard plugins.

The kick is actually very good.

The kick's nice and strong, but there's a click effect to it that sort of stands out, gives a slight abrasion to the flow

The reason is probably in my own style, but I'd actively pursue that effect for a song constructed like this.

The opening actally comes out sounding nice, peaceful, and uplifting. The only thing is, I personally find a minute and a half opening a little difficult to keep interest in. It's sort of like... "it's nice... now where's the beef?"

I rather agree with some of the other sentiment here that the kick is a little overbearing for the track. It probably sounds totally awesome on a pair of headphones without a bass boost, but it kind of powers through everything else on the DJ monitors I have connected to my computer.

What I really do like, is that the opening's peace and uplifting sound come full circle at the 3:40 mark. It offers some closure to the entire piece.

Overall, pretty good. Very pleasing melody and harmonics, but it can use a little bit more in the way of fine-tuning and balancing.
