You're welcome. You did a wonderful job conveying the texture of the rock just because of the different line directions. If you were only to use one directional path to convey the whole piece, it would come out as flat. Having all other the variations builds up that hard texture that you were looking for.
But this is also coming from a girl who usually only uses cross hatching and loves it. LOVES it.
