A scout-weight Cazador. This is a lightweight machine, usually unmanned but sometimes crewed by between one and three people. Unmanned Gunslingers are the norm, however, since their fast speed and light armor make them especially useful for dangerous deep penetration, reconaissance and interdiction missions.
AI-controlled, with a battlefield EGO uplink networked with their battlegroup, Gunslingers and similar scouts are normally employed in groups of either three or six, two gunners and one equipped with an autocannon equivalent and AA-missiles.
"Gunslinger" is not an official designation, but rather is the usual term applied by battlegroup commanders to their gun-carrying scout Cazadores.
This variant is armed with a 55 mm coilgun and CITV coupled "zapper" burst laser. Through its coupling, the zapper can either be fired through the coaxial main optic, or through the main optics of the commanders viewer to supply short range defense against soft targets.
Laser cannon equipped heavy Cazadores often have the same ability, except instead of a seperate weapon they use their main gun to discharge low-powered bursts through the other optics mounted on the turret.
