Finished my first year of Artschool and this is what I made in the last semester, well part of it at least.

We had to make a presentation of our best works from each class. I'm happy to say that I made some progress and boy went this year by fast! I'm so happy that I've met so many new awesome and inspiring people! :D

Yeah it does! You start to do things you otherwise wouldn't do, at least I did..sometimes because of lack of motivation or not knowing where to start...like drawing models and still lifes!

ok, do you feel as if it's helping you improve as an artist? I've heard from a few artist it kinda makes you get stuck in one style, do you feel as if it's doing that for you?

I'm very interested in art school and i'm sorry if these questions are kinda bombarding you.

Yeah it does...and no not at all! Art school helps you to explore different art styles..at least my school does..I also never do digital work for school, which is a nice change :) And it's ok, feel free to ask :D

This makes me feel nostalgic... Your first year seems similar to mine but with cooler themes.

Most of the time we didn't have a theme, the still life drawings for example are for my own study, but we did have themes like Big Brother, Edward Snowden, Putin etc. xD

I know what you mean! It's just that... your prof says "do a random study", you pick a subject and your profs probably let you go ahead with it and mine would say it's not artsy enough... My education was somewhat classical but also way behind the time. Those buggers pretended all culture ended in the early XX century...

Well, I can't say I get much positive feedback, rarely actually XD My work is too kitsch said one teacher to me..which makes me sad but oh well...xD

Very nice! That looks like Snowden with the gun pointed at him. That one with the fox in the lower left hand corner has some wonderful colors!
