A stardrake wonders around the caves deep in this new place to her. some new smells seem like a challenge to find their source in the eternal darkness. but a the sound of someone or something calls her attention away, she freezes, standing motionless and turning her glowing lures off, so as to better gaze through the darkness with other senses without giving herself away. what she sees is a faint blue glow pop out from the bend in the cave a fair distance away. curious though, she'd never seen a stardrake with a blue lure before, and only one to her two. being in a rather curious mood she decided to lay on the floor, making nair a sound with her soft scales.
The male dragon could smell something different in the air of the cave, but couldn't put a finger on it, it was fresh, that much was for sure. but it wasn't an old smell, not like it had been here a long time. he'd been to this cave once or twice before, and knew there was a nice cavern to rest in off to the right, he hadn't explored the left tunnel yet. he cautiously made his way down the tunnel, about to head to the right, when he thought he saw two lights flicker down the left path. he stopped and waited for a moment, nothing that he'd seen in this cave before had ever flashed like that. being curious by nature, he decided to investigate. darkening his energy's intensity, only the fireball on his head gave of enough light to alert anyone that there was something near. they'd never guess it was a dragon if they came face to face with him. sneaking as silently as he could down the tunnel.
She decided to lure this creature to it's doom and slowly increased the luminescence of her lures as it steadily got closer. foolish creature wouldn't have a chance when it met her sharp teeth and satisfying her stomach. patiently she waited as it slowly got closer, it wasn't until the blue ball was several feet away that she noticed it wasn't a lure, but a strange ball of fire. Suddenly she realized this was some trick of a magician, some creature she'd head of that tricks creatures with tricks and lies in unnatural ways. In her sudden realization she lit her lure alite, as bright as she could in an effort to blind her enemy, and made ready to stand up and prepare for an attack. But fate would have other plans, when she revealed herself, the dragon under the blue light suddenly lit itself alight, the fireball glowing bright enough to light the tunnel, and strange vines of the same blue energy flowed over this.. dragon's body.
Both of them were shocked at what lay before their eyes. Not at all what they had expected.

"Hello" was echoed between them a few moments later
