I've been talking to defiance a lot about the Eflasiaverse lately and it's been making me want to draw some related characters. I also tried coming up with species for them but the whole 'I'm going to practice drawing furries' thing didn't last very long obviously, I find it a lot easier to draw them as humans. ><

ANYWAYS these two are from the city of fire, in Defi's version of the world Eli is a shiba and Cyrus is a doberman. Cyrus is the son of one of the leaders of the newly formed republic, and is generally very serious and hard-working in an attempt to meet their expectations. He's very talented in many areas and has an aloof personality which results in him making a lot of enemies (but also fangirls/fanboys) Eli is pretty much the opposite, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is constantly excited about everything. They HATE each other at first (well eli hates cyrus and thinks he's a brat, cyrus barely knows eli exists) but they gradually become the one idiot couple everyone knows that never do anything without each other. I can't even draw them seperately they're just big dumb dorks.

As for the relationship with Eflasia, she's known Cyrus since childhood due to the diplomatic relations between their cities. They very rarely actually meet in person, but they frequently exchange letters and she considers him a close friend.

I might do some more sketch things like this cuz a. they're fun b. I like talking about my characters, and c. I've been super tired lately and lazy sketch pages seem to be about all I can manage to draw.
