I've been trying to figure out a new format for my galactic maps. I struggled with it for almost a year until I saw one of jollyjack's recent submissions featuring a star map, so I decided to see what would happen if I based it off of his.

I do enjoy this style, but for future star maps, I'm going to try and find ways to make it more my own. Once I've perfected that, I'm going to go back and redo the star maps for some of the more important systems in my fictional galaxy.

The Atkal system houses the planet Sanguine, which is the homeworld of the Turatoren.
