This painting was absolutely and positively a bitch to paint.
Between trying to get folds and shadows just right to trying not to make Raka look blue. Which he isn't, he's white. I had problems with that. xP

But yeah, I didn't have the heart to use the originals to transfer onto the canvas [using the good ol' shading on the back technique, thank you very much], so I had to trace them onto different sheets of paper, shade the back of them, and then copy them onto the canvas. That process alone took me two hours.
Yeah, that was a really big pain in the ass.

And then the painting itself took three, two hour sessions. So yeah. Overall, eight hours to get this stupid painting done.

But I love it so much.
I would put it in my profile for RMCAD, but I'm giving it to Raka for Christmas. It was his idea to draw it like this, and I just turned it into a painting.

So. Acrylic paint and black ball point pen on Canvas.
Eight hours of work overall.

Oh. Joy.
