I was almost abducted twice when I was a little kid. Once by some guys in a van claiming to sell popcorn (pulled into the driveway and opened the side door and there was a guy in there with bags of popcorn around). Second time was a truck with a horn that played music when that first became a thing. I lived in a very very rural area so none of this made sense.
