So, this was the third time I commissioned Thanshuhai. And it's like the third different kind of commission I got from him. And I love this one for different reasons than the others. While the other two I have are awesome (especially the pottery picture, which remains my absolute favorite commission), they're both rather...static. I get a lot of pictures with Skips just lazing or relaxing. Nothing wrong with that. Chill chee is chill.
Anyways, an opportunity popped up to get a sketch like commission from Thanshuhai. And, well, took the opportunity to get something more dynamic looking. When I said I was getting a sketch, I was expecting nothing more than some rough lineart. I'd have been happy with that, because I love Than's stuff. I was not expecting colors, let alone shading. My mind was kinda blown. Another reason I love this.
So, I get this picture of Skips in this cool pose, rocking a pair of headphones. Perhaps if there's one thing I never really showed in my commissions is music. I like music. Well, took me while to start liking it. I must thank Pandora for making me realize what sort of music I like. Needless to say, I have a playlist full of hipster bullshit.
And also, I love Skips is wearing his trusty ol' hoodie again. I mean, seems like it's been like forever since I got a picture of skips in his hoodie. Or wearing a shirt of any kind, thinking about it. Not that I have anything wrong with showing off skips shirtless. I mean, gotta show off them spots and stripes and fluff, right? But hoodies are awesome! So, need more hoodie commissions. But here's one right here, so another reason to love it!
So, we got a picture of an awesome chee, in an awesome hoodie, in an awesome pose, listening to some awesome you probably never heard of before. What's not awesome about it? Hehe. I should stop before I get egotistical.
