I love your art, Jaeh!! I'm sorry that I haven't agreed to a trade. I love the look of your characters, but lately I've just been drawing for myself since I do it so rarely. I'd love to see Roxi in your style, even though I might not be drawing a sketch for you in return for a while. I'm just not drawing enough lately.

I agree it is good to see you draw Roxi again! Still, it is pretty good that I saw what you had to say. For me it seems like I really only draw other peoples' characters and not my own. I think Umbri deserves a bit more attention, but especially those that I haven't even put on paper yet!

Poor pink kitty needs to what where she goes. Wonder how she fell over like that??

Very nice, I espically found the part where she appears to be using her breasts like pillows while she sleeps cute.

*laughs* Aww! They're all so cuuute! XD

......I haven't a clue as to why yet, but I see this, and immediately does the theme from Heathcliff cue up in my head. Perhaps it’s the face. Well....I'm going to put a definitely lean on it being the face and how it's drawn. She doesn't look like Cleo but like she'd somehow fit in. Either that or I can tell you that your art style reminds me of 80s animated cartoons. (Which is a compliment in itself when you think about it.)


Back on topic, this is a rather interesting little artistic study. It's like....activities in the life of a pink kitten.


The one at the bottom seems to amuse me the most. Because when I look at her paw/foot pads it's as if she's....a type of stuffed animal or plush toy. (Or again....an 80s animated character.) It's just one of those things that happen to stand out to me.


The top right seems to be the easiest to say something about. As she's contemplating. With a ball of yarn in hand (Which I'll give you credit for drawing as I honestly wouldn't have the patience..) it's like she would be trying to think up what to knit with said yarn barn. As if she'd go and knit out an sweater or a scarf as....given the time when I'm commenting upon this it would be the season after all.





.............I think half of me would commission to see that too. But not going there.



What I enjoy in this set the most? The far right. Yes. The one where she's sleeping.
As from what I've gathered, she's usually energetic and moving around a bunch, so seeing her actually sleep seems.... well, different. It's like it was drawn to show that yes, it actually does happen. That's...rather charming to me.

Thank you for checking out my old sketch! I hadn't drawn Roxi in a while (and I haven't drawn Roxi much since then), but I really wanted to explore her personality a bit more. When I roleplay her or fursuit as her, I'm hoping to get that personality across, but it's tough to translate all that stuff into text or into a costume. I've had the character for a long time, so I forget that people still discover the character for the first time everyday.

Roxi's very much inspired by that Heathcliff show. I was really into the energy of those background characters, but it's hard to go back and watch the episodes since they're geared toward little kids.

Roxi has these plush boot-like feet that don't make a lot of sense, but it's just a style thing. None of my other characters have odd mutant feet yet. :)

Sometimes I'd roleplay Roxikat playing with a ball of string like it was a video game, trying to find a save point. :)
