Finally finished this up! Well... I was thinking of adding a background, but I've spent long enough on it as it is. If I add a background later I'll upload it with the bg as well. :3
I went a little overboard with this because I really liked my initial sketch, so I spent a lot of time on this (and a lot of procrastination). I hope you all like it, this is my reward for you guys following me being awesome and stuff. Sorry it's so late. =3=;

I use PaintTool SAI and a Wacom tablet, and I think the only real tip I can give is to not be afraid to use references, but don't just copy stuff either. References are vital for improving, and once you've done something once you'll be able to do it by your own hand easier next time. Also the regular thing of practice, and make sure you have brushes you can use well and you are happy with. Messing with brushes is tedious but needs to be done.
