Spiritual Creatures of Myth and Legend: Twins of Two Different Worlds
For centuries, many people thought about beings that are more powerful then themselves. They also categorized these beings into 2 very different sides: Good and Evil. The characteristics of the categorized Denties limits them to become either good or evil, depending on how they Look. If one was born of fire, has webbed featherless wings, and a pair of horns, then they are considered a "Demon", an Evil spirit that exists only to cause bad things to others. However if one was born of pure light, has feathered wings, and carries a halo over them, then they are an "Angel" aka "Holy Being", A Good spirit that exists to help and bring good to the world.
Considering these limited choices, a simple bias was created. People will always see spirits as either good or bad depending on how they look most of the time.
But there are shades of Grey in the Seas of the Expected, deeply hidden in the waves of Black and White.
Case in point, a pair of siblings was born, Twins. These two were born looking alike, yet as they grew, their appearance changed.
D the Flea aka Master D grew into a fully feathered wolf-like being. Based on her experiences, very few were bad and most were great if not good memories, which affected her outer appearance, making her appear more Angelic; however, due to this She can be easily saddened by minor bad things, having a sense of being depressed, unhappy, or emotionally negative at times. In short, she has a very low tolerance of pain - physical, mental, or emotional. But, because of her appearance, there are alot of opportunities for friendly people to approach her and even help her. She is also very social, smart, and at times aggressively verbal, and is very large social butterfly.
M the Fox aka Doctor M grew into a scruffy, horned, fox-like being. When she was small, she was separated from her sister and sent to an orphanage. Once there, she was bullied left and right, and kept to herself alot of the time because of this. Since most of her memories weren't that good, her appearance changed dramatically from her twin sister, making her more monster-like in appearance, if not she looked more demonized then anyone there, which either kept people away from her or allows people to try and hurt her. But because of these experiences, she looked more on the brighter side, since anything good that ever happen to her, which is uncommon, made her extremely happy and thankful. She also has an unusually high tolerance for pain. She is very shy and kind, and is more of a wallflower.
Years, Decades, Centuries later, the two sisters reunited. Even thought both looked different, they recognized one another from not their appearance, but from each others' souls; One look into each others' eyes was like looking into the mirror. A missing piece of each others' soul. This wasn't a type of 'soul-mate' connection, but something deeper. Similar to remembering a long lost memory, only to remember after seeing, hearing, or smelling something familiar.
The reunion lasted but a few minutes, since both had to go back to their respective realms. But they vowed to see each other everyday, over the abandoned hill, no matter what. At sunset, they would signal each other with their glowing noses, the only physical trait that hasn't changed when they grew up.
They both lost each other at young tender ages, but after growing up and finding one another again, they started to rebuild their relationship from the ground up, using their past memories when they were young as a base.
Master D was always content being with her sister, and Dr. M was, finally, not alone anymore.[/i]
