So yeah, I finally wanted to try out color using GIMP and try getting used to some of the art tools and features. It may be a bit basic, but I was inspired by a particular move that I thought was epic from Final Fantasy 8, hence the name of the title. Although it isn't my #1 favorite, I still loved it's romantic story.

I showed my sketch of this to a friend of mine and asked him what was the first thing that popped in his mind when he saw this... I was kinda embarrassed when he told me it reminded him of E.T., but I don't blame him, sorta. x3
