I feel as though he needs weapons or something like that..
Perhaps some metal weights or plating on his tail to make it into a club~? (Eeeeh, that'd make more sense on a euoplocephalus..)

Maybe some dastanas(arm guards), but really i don't think he needs weapons if hes a monk/brawler.~

Or perhaps some fingerless fighting gloves with an iron knuckle guard~
