You can beat hackers in a fair fight. They just whine louder when you do it because it demonstrates your superiority.

I've played some great games where the odds are stacked against me via superor weapons and such, it forces you to approch the opponent differently, you know? But it just ruins the game when they cheat so blatently. -_-...

Well, it depends on the game. Yes, being nearly invincible yourself adds a level of challenge to 'escort' missions or 'protect the base shield made of wet toilet paper'.
