They're not D12's, they're 12-sided D4's.

It has I, II, III, and IV printed on three sides. Same chances, less stabbing yourself in the foot.

They are AMAZING and EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE SOME. XD

I had five but I traded one for the pink and black D20.

I use gamescience D4s. precision cut, squared corners (or they could pierce the gaming surface), so easier to pick up. the D6s they make, on the other hand, they don't square off the corners. so those kinda hurt if you grab 'em wrong. I have D3s (capsules or spheres with three sides shaved off), a couple of these, D5s (thick triangles, kinda), D7s (thick pentagons), D14s with days of the week (like a D10, but more sides, seven on each half, and still offset), D16s (like the D14s, but more sides, and not offset. more like a D8 with more sides), D24s (like a D6, but bow out each face, and make it four faces), and a few D30s. I got a lot of dice.

my regular dice I bring everywhere with me is in an old can of General snus. the little space in the lid, I have 25+ Wizkids D6s, they're each like a millimeter across, each. so tiny! then in the main compartment, I have mini dice. 3D20, 4 each D4, D8, D12, 7 D10 ones, and 7 D10 tens. I used to play a lot of White Wolf games, having less than a dozen D10s meant every roll would be multiple rolls guaranteed.

I gathered most of mine when I did a Deadlands game (run by the awesome  kalimar) and yeahhhhh... it's about as bad. "6D6 damage" or "3 D8" or "4D4" lol.

I took a picture of my dice, but it won't upload, I need wifi for that, and my wifi crapped out a couple months ago. so once I get that uploaded, with a Magic spindown, and a munchkin pawn in the shot, you'll see how big they are. unless you can note me an email or something I can share it to.

The design is fabulous! $40 sounds perfectly reasonable (I'd probably even say up to $50 for a starting range on a piece like this!).

Yeah, I'm undercutting myself a little bit, but it's an economics thing. 5 people might buy them for $40, whereas only 3 would buy them for $50/60. HOORAY FOR MICROECONOMICS!

my father has a PhD in Economics. if you really know your product, you price it down to the penny. but I bet you knew that already. and widgets, and tinstaafl, and Adam Smith's invisible hand....

I really really hate economics. Like, a lot. But I know people and customers and most business stuff is just common sense, y'know? I'm not a hardcore businesswoman that's all about the bottom line, like... I don't know. I would very very very much rather sacrifice a couple dollars and give my customers an awesome experience, y'know?

no, that's ok. if you still haven't remade them, if they're big enough to hold standard D6s, maybe that would be best. besides I'll wanna use the center walls to bounce dice off of.

Normal D6's need I think like 5/8" or 3/4". If I did that, the overall height would be 1" tall... would that still fit in your bag? I want to make sure that you get what you want. ^___^

yeah, that'll still fit, no problem. I'll only have it in there for conventions anyhow, the rest of the time it'll be the set I bring to games runs on Mondays, he gives me a lift. I also might bring it to Encounters on Wednesdays, is there for that.
