Well, I have been drawing for quite a while, as you can see on my Y! Gallry page, but am finally alowing myself to learn using books & stuff. Trying to see if I can improve on my art instead of it staying the same.

art block is a part of you that feels lazy. like your mind wanting somthing more because you feel bored with your own art.

believe me, trying to take examples from manga's or speacial books on anime.. will only frustrate you and drive you into insanity.

but thats just me.

i moved off art for a few and made myself bored with life tiself, and then i became better in my art ;3

Thanks. BUt I have been in an art block for a long time, & am partially afriad, that I may lose some of my talent id it's for too long, yet also wish to try & improve as well. Also, a kinda excuse to draw as well. ^_^

your doing a lot better, just keep with those books and remember practice, and above all.. don't stress, the more you stress the more flaws you will find in your work, just let the imspiration come to you ^_^

You are indeed correct. I apologize for not having to be seeming to be able to catch up woth you. Things have been busy to say the least & for quite some time, was just utterly drained from IM's, but perhaps I can explaion in detail if we should catch one another on there. ^_^

I haven't checked those books out in quite some time. Perhaps Ishould look at them again.

I think you have great potential, the only 'problem' I see, which can be easily fixed and is a common error among artists, are the hands.
This may not work for you, but the way I draw hands is I envision what pose they will be in, then look at my hands in that position, to see what they would look like.

Yeah, hands are the bigiest thing I have trouble with drawing. I d also try to use my own hand as a quide but doesn't work that good. XP

Just keep trying. It takes a while to get used to it.
