This was an early sketch sheet of ideas for my winged golden jackal 'sona Auric, drawn by  twistgryphon back when there were only a few sketches for references. At the time all of his references were very humanistic anthro, so this was his first interpretation as a more animalistic anthro. This isn't a current refsheet but it was a lot of help in developing the character and getting me used to what he'd look like in different styles.

The drawing in the lower right was the very first colored drawing of Auric. Chibi angel Auric in the lower left is insanely cute. These sketches also show how the detail of Auric's amulet can be simplified for a drawing.
