This is a possum that I caught in my cage trap.Possums wont bite you,but they commonly threaten to.I have been bitten only twice,out of pure retardedness.But they are nice creatures to handle,for I have handled many in the past.

Not very happy, is he? I remember a friend brought a caged raccoon to school once and I, being the brilliant one, went up to it after all the kids and poked it with pencils and shit and it bit my fingernail clean off.

I'm too trusting of animals.

Man, what I'd give to take car eof an oppossum...a couple fo my online friends had friends who raised them after their moms got hit by cars & such, and said they make great pets

OUCH!!!!!your fingernail?How grousome,that sounds like it hurt really bad.Im soory to hear that,allthough raccoons are tasty,they dont need to bee poked by pencils.

I have always wanted a pet possum.That is why I have been trapping them in hopes that I might catch one with babies.

My friend and I rescued an opossum that had been hit by a car, and I kept her as a "pet" for a year. She was very sweet and never bit anyone. In fact, she never even threatened to bite anyone - though she did bite the vacuum cleaner hose attachment once.

That is awsome.A pet for a year,that wold be a dream cometrue for me. They do threaten alot butwill very seldom bite,well actually the only way to get bitten is to literally put yourhand in their mouth. But they are very nice and wouldnt harm a fly.

I am in love with the last picture.That is a very cute possum by the way. Looks very healthy and her coat is brilliant. Very neat with all the stuffed possums and blossum in the middle.
