This was a quick watercolor portrait that I did for a bobcat friend of mine.

Watercolor is not at all easy to work with. When I was in high school I was made to use that media as others. By far I found it one of the most hard to use. Bit time has passed so much now I can not draw or paint anything. LOL I guess I will just stick to acting silly in suit. Oh BTW I posted the pics you sent me in my FA and LJ. Got a heck of a lot great comments! Everyone really seems to love him. I know I sure do. ^_^
Strangely watercolors work for me. I find I prefer them to most other kinds of paint. They never go bad. It doesn't mater if they dry out. They can be both subtle and bold. I do like acrylics a lot as well, but generally if I want to paint in traditional media I will grab watercolor paints first. I'm usually too busy building suits to do much art, so it's kind of a treat when I get to.
I'm very glad your head is getting such a positive reaction! I'm really loving working on your suit! Such a cool character. Challenging to construct, but a lot of fun! ^.^
