Kinda wanted to do a scene that shows how Chao did things she isn't proud of, so now she has to keep on the down low and on the move to keep from being found by authorities, even though she knows well enough Seraphim, the vampire who 'marked' her, could have her found if he chose to. This piece also represents how I'm trying to transition Chao from the anime-look to something a bit more realistic. I loved how well the present Chao turned out but I think I could have spent more time on the crappy wanted poster.

Thank you very much ^^ Traditional is sadly all I can do at the moment and this was done with pencil, then ball point pen, and colored with regular Sharpies.

I like digital, respect and admire, but traditional for me is more natural, pure and beautiful, its my passion <3

Aww, thanks! I feel the same about digital. I know it takes alot of time & a loot of focus, but I suppose deep down I am sort of a purist when it comes to doing artwork traditionally.

I think you've definitely hit your mark on the comparative contrast theme between your styles then and now. Again, really liking what you're doing with Chao now, enough changes to be new, but enough retention to stay consistent.

Yes, I wanted to change her just enough for it to be very noticeable but nothing too extreme. I wanted this piece to represent how I am trying to shift away slowly from anime style & develop my own style. Plus, when you're still staying hidden from bounty hunters, one must change appearances from to time :)

As far as Chao's crimes & past are concerned, I figured 100k was a decent enough amount for a bounty ^^;; She's not that infamous!

Yes, I wanted the comparison to be very different between the two to symbolize her moral changes & decisions between her murderous assassin days to a now peaceful civilian life, but also to show that her past will always be looming over her in some way.
