My final project for my Motion Graphics class. We had the choice of an animated card or an animated comic. With how much drawing I had to do for the animatic for my audio production class, I stuck to the e-card.

The flowers are all created in Illustrator from googled photo references, then copy/pasted into flash. Each one is still seperated into all its different parts, which I did on purpose so I could move things around when I animated the flowers.

Which ment that I couldn't transform the shape of the flowers and tween it at the same time... the shape gets all screwy. Thus, any flowers you see change shape as they move are ones I animated frame by frame... lots of frames with very subtle differences to get the smooth animation.

The text is actually its own movie clip, so it runs independant of the main movie that has the flowers in it. That means I can get a smooth looping on the flowers that's not affected in anyway by the looping of the text when you hit replay.

Not my most elaborately animated flash to-date, but certainly one of my best looking ones.
