Kinda based on the backbone of my fursona's story.
Hazael was a normal grey cat who ended up getting adopted from the local animal shelter by a family of three. The child of the family was a teenager who was into alchemy and was abusive to Hazael.
While Hazael lived, he met a local cat by the name of Snowbelle and fell in love with her.
One day, the teenager performed a sacrifice using Hazael. The ritual went terribly wrong causing Hazael to transform into a vicious demon cat and turn on the child, killing him.
Later afterwards, he encountered Snowbelle who had claimed Hazael had changed. Due to short temper, Hazael became enraged and had slain Snowbelle by slitting her throat with his claws in an alley.
As time went on, Hazael evolved into a human-like anthro cat and even learned how to speak and control his powers. He still carries Snowbelle's collar to remind of him of his first lover and also his last.
