This is a little underexposed. According to Jeffrey's Exif Viewer you shot this at 1/60s, f8 and ISO 400 in full manual mode with a Canon 60D and a macro lens.
You could easily have raised the ISO by one more stop (or maybe 2/3 of a stop) to brighten it up a little.
The composition also strikes me as a little wonky. Why is there a dandy lion in the front? It looks like it's photobombing you^^ Something in the foreground CAN work, it adds depths to the image. But in this case the dandy lion looks distracting.
If you had focused on the dandy lion instead of putting it out of focus this might have looked better.
I would also have gone down to the same level as the flower that is in focus. Taking the shot at an angle from above just doesn't look very pleasing.
This is how I would do it: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13490047/
Lie down on the ground to get a good angle and make sure that the image is nice and bright. Because only a well exposed image gives you good saturation and contrast in this case! And with an angle like this you actually have a background which gives you the opportunity to get some nice bokeh.
