when you dyed the fur were you aiming for a specific orange or just kinda trying to get orange. period.? I ask cause im having trouble finding a color that matches my sona and i contemplated dying white fur myself though wasnt sure how hard it would be to achieve exact matching colors.
i just wanted orange. I dyed it with almost straight up red paint. When washed it faded to a nice orange. I wouldnt recommend drying fur, especially for a large area on a body suit. Its hard to get an even coloring and I am not super confident with how well it stays in with frequent washing. I only did it because it was only in 2 small spots. one on the head which wont be washed, and one on the tail which I made removable for washing so it shouldnt be washed frequently. I also dyed yellow fur to orange, it wasnt a drastic color change. I would honestly try to find fur that is as close as possible instead of dying fur.
