I wanted to try one of those creepy/sketchy looks you see in a lot of horror related comics and animations. I drew, colored, and did the background in a program called Krita. Then I touched it up in FireAlpaca. This is my original persona. I think I'm gonna call her Lupe, short for Guadalupe and she can see monsters.
It's an idea that just popped in my head. I wanna practice making comics so I want an idea that'll stick so I mixed my favorite things together. Monsters, horror, and mentally screwed up main characters :D
Well, Lupe isn't really 'screwed up'. She's perfectly normal, except she sees monsters... everywhere and it seems no one else can see them either. However, not all of the monsters she's run into were evil. Some of them were nice and she even has an imaginary friend/monster that's been with her for years. She thought he was an imaginary friend and so did her parents, but it seemed at a young age Lupe could see these odd creatures.
The monsters do now scare her anymore, but what does is the monster she can see inside of humans. Evil/good/neutral, it didn't matter. She may come off as a prick but she actually tries to keep people away on purpose. Her imaginary friend is a bit overprotective and will hurt anyone that gets too close to her. So for their safety she stays away from human contact. Even if this means coming off as an anti-social asshole. However, she will stop to help a child to find their parents or do anything else helpful.

So now with that out of the way let's talk a bit about the comic I wanna do. It's(obviously) about Lupe and a mysterious organization that specializes in keeping monsters under control. However Lupe isn't like the others. She can see the 'real' monsters and the scariest thing is that they're just like you or me. Along with trying to work on ToD stuff I wanna do this for my comic practice, because I want to make ToD into a visual novel as well. I'm gonna have lots of fun :D
