Grabbed this from Wikipedia while i was looking at the usual random things I do from time to time. Particularly historical bits.
This is a document found by historians that had been used at a trial in France from the early 1600s. A priest, Urbain Grandier, was accused of witch-craft and heresy and this document was submitted as evidence. It's written in backwords Latin and translated it says this:
"We, the influential Lucifer, the young Satan, Beelzebub, Leviathan, Elimi,
and Astaroth, together with others, have today accepted the covenant pact
of Urbain Grandier, who is ours. And him do we promise
the love of women, the flower of virgins, the respect of monarchs, honors, lusts and powers.
He will go whoring three days long; the carousal will be dear to him. He offers us once
in the year a seal of blood, under the feet he will trample the holy things of the church and
he will ask us many questions; with this pact he will live twenty years happy
on the earth of men, and will later join us to sin against God.
Bound in hell, in the council of demons.
Lucifer Beelzebub Satan
Astaroth Leviathan Elimi
The seals placed the Devil, the master, and the demons, princes of the lord.
Baalberith, writer."
All the signatures at the bottom of the pact belong to the demons that were named as well as Lucifer's. Urbain Grandier was then later executed after being found guilty, via burning at the stake.
Of course in all reality poor Urbain was mostly likely the victim of the ever so common case of political infighting and intrigue.
Forged documents that resulted in someone being burned alive aside though, it's actually a pretty interesting document to come across in particular the symbols and signatures.
AUTHOR - Well the demon already states who he is, but it was more than likely some other douche /douches who wanted the guy out of the way.
THEME - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H3UiwU1N5I - Ave Satani. Although featured in the cinema film series "The Omen", that's an actual Gregorian chant.

Yes and that is what is also important about these kinds of things, is that at some level these people really well and truly believed in these things. It's hard for us to look back and really understand the seriousness with which they took these things, so we're often prone to criticizing them for it. I can only imagine what people 500+ years from now will say when they look back and see the kinds of things we believed in.
People say they really truly believe today and put on a show of faith but I don't think it comes quite close to actually putting people in trial for witchcraft or association with the Devil (at least not in modern Western countries).
Though part of me suspects that among the powerful back then there was also an unspoken knowledge that "this is all crap," in which case its perfectly fine to forge a document from Satan to take out whoever you need to.
