That video is the epitome of early nineties design and color. The ultramarine and gamboge... That thing on the right of your piece, with the harshly lit metal thing with the abstract design on it...
So fun.
And like why? to that whole period. Abominable shirt designs, abominable hair, everything was so clashy and loud... everything was either lit like Los Angeles at high noon, or covered in a thin film of hairspray dust, or both. Aggh.
