She tried screaming through the microphone but the noise threshold was much too high. Her voice was not audible to those being surveyed; she was rendered expressionless. A little hot dog rolled under her bed. When she found it all shrunken and hardened on a ceramic plate, she cried, and told herself "I'll find that pistol-headed goat-like creature if I have to spin more corky dialogue every good afternoon."
If we were like little blueprints, we would not need depth.
Images similar to this one could easily have been made in 1995 in a bitmap format—although they would have been just as unpopular as they are now.

I'm glad to see that you're still present. It's coming to an end—although they've yet to relent on their incessant spawning of tiresome arguments that they base on fallacy and an exotic variety of inane negative assumptions about my behavior and habits, regardless of the wild abundance of characteristics (that are parent to such behaviors) that outright contradict those implications. Thankfully, I've not yet lost my patience or (more incredibly) my will to continue making artistic and educational strides, and I don't plan on letting those things shrivel into nothing within the span of my remaining life.
THEN AGAIN, I'm bound for another section of the so-called "real world" in the coming weeks. The sooner, the better: earlier today, I went to go see the people who stand to represent a campus that I plan on attending, and the whole experience felt like a grand summary of a spiral society; thinking figuratively, I feel like I'm catching a glimpse of the same pillar that I'd walked by a higher portion of when I had begun high school. Such a sight is baffling, and brings me to my knees with panic. I can't turn anywhere without looking at a figure of authority who fell in line with what seems now to be the planned order of society—and these small, insignificant figures of authority hold enough minor significance over us to be able to legally inject us with useless medications that cause paranoia (among other things), while everyone on Earth fails to realize that there is nothing that we can do that will ever affect the grand outcome of things: our history will be forgotten and recycled into another reality, and whatever synthesizes our chain of realities will be likewise recycled. I don't know how many times over.
And still, wars are fought, and there are still so-called "world leaders". There are still people who think that the solution to the planet's problems is through participating in practicing things that make new minds unhappy, while paying no mind to the obvious ways to avoid the starvation of thousands of flailing little people—and it's not through producing organisms of uncertain compatibility with Earth.
I'm falling far off-track, and failing to keep my clasp on quality... I need to rest before I look over this!
Many thanks for the compliments! I don't know if this style has a name or not, but my attraction towards it is clear. The same effect can be achieved with real-life optics through the use of very high inward zoom; the sense of depth is flattened remarkably, and objects will be given a "2.5-D" look. I suggest that you look into high-powered optical zoom video demonstrations, and see for yourself what I mean.
