Goodbye my beautiful Miss Elizabeth, you were the best hamster; so loving, gentle and adorable. I love you so much and so did everyone who met you. My boyfriend Cameron and I bought her on our anniversary last year 1/2/13, I picked her out and found she didn't nip or fuss with me when I picked her up. She really was the sweetest hamster I've EVER had, never bit me, peed or pooed on me or anyone who held her. I'm going to miss her zipping by in her ball and her morning chirps she'd do at 5am.
Also in case you ever wondered why I named her Miss Elizabeth or where it came from I named her after this woman; Macho Man's woman/manager, she's gentle, soft spoken and always there

Very much so! On rare occasions, they may live longer! One hamster I had in the past must have been about 5 years old before he passed away. Eevee was taken down with a sudden illness (I guessed wet tail), and I could have attempted to save her if it weren't on a Sunday when the vets were all closed :( It was too late the next day, since wet tail can take lives within 24 hours...
Although part of me is saying it's a little too early, hopefully I'll be picking up a little ham next week! I decided I really wanted the responsibility back, I have the home ready for it (not sure if I'll get a male or female yet)!

Aww, it's worse when they become ill, because you know they're in pain or they're struggling :< One ham of mine was on medicine for a while (unsure what the illness was, I was a lot younger then), another's stomach became bloated and then there was Eevee with wet tail :c
That's so true! I've had hamsters most of my life, and all of them were so unique! They're just so lovely to care for!
