Bebop from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It seems everyone left without him... again. He's one of those characters that fascinates me on the rare occasion when I can see his eyes. I think poor Bebop may be reflecting on his life choices. Have you seen the new episode of the Nick show? Bebop and Rocksteady's human forms are uh, definitely new takes on the characters. Rocksteady's a russian weapon's collector, and Bebop's a...stealth cloak using thief, who kind of sings and stuff while doing his thing. :p It's nuts.
This is neat as hell though, the lighting on the pavement's so good, and the weeds and cans on the ground, totally makes me feel like any street I've been on walking around. Impressive as usual man.

I'm not sure about the new Bebop. He's got a bit of a Michael Jackson in a Tron outfit with a Mohawk kind of deal going on. Totally missed that the Russian guy was supposed to be the new Rocksteady (or did I read that wrong?)
Also finally saw the preview for the new Turtles movie...
I am very afraid.
All that aside, this is yet another wonderful piece of art. I'm glad we can count on you to give us proper renditions of Turtle characters.

Yeah, the toy has it. I dunno if it's on any other incarnation though. I just realized it myself today after... like... 20 something years.
Umm... well... I dunno. I just like making my drawings smelly. ( It could be that I sorta had a light source in mind... I dunno though. ).

In one of the first 5, brilliantly animated episodes, he can be seen sans glasses ( although he kinda looses character in that scene ). I have an old action figure called " Head-Spinning " Bebop where his glasses flip up & down as his head spins. He's a wind-up. I always liked that Bebop figure best.
