Can't say I'm too satisfied with the title right now, but I'll have to let it be for now. I apologize for the unintentionally lengthy drought of submissions! I can assure you I haven't been idle. For one thing, I now have a job! :D It may prove to only be a temporary position, but it's a job nonetheless. This is one of a couple of things I have in the works, this particular piece being the second member of the bestiary series I'm doing. I'd say it's coming along nicely, and I hope to have more in the way of contrast and visual interest as the project goes along.

I was wrestling with which way I should go about portraying a tengu--whether I should do a man with red skin and a long nose, a human-bird hybrid, or what-have-you, but after some sketches and brainstorming decided on the latter. It's also proving to be a nice opportunity to see just what I can do in MangaStudio. :D
