a lazy sketch with quick shading... bah, I should do more finished drawings, but they just don't seem to happen.

I seem to be stuck in the same rut as you, all of my thrown together drawings don't look half-bad, but the ones with purpose suck.
*sigh* why must it always be so much easier to get things done when I'm not trying particularly hard...
