Snapped this picture while in the stands at Mule Days with my zoom lens. They were all the way at the other end of the arena waiting to be brought in for the driving competition. Funny and cute pic I thought. Enjoy.

They do have long tongues! Hehe! Anyway, that is a good looking mule -- good color. He's part of a matching team of 4. I'll see if I can post a pic or two of the team.

if I could drive directly east, Id be there in 2 hours:P I live in Mariposa on the west side of the sierras. Work keeps me from going to the old mule days sadly:(

That would be my guess as well. . :) Got the color but I don't remember if they said one way or another during the driving class. :P
