Okay so did you know that one time Nai and I did a sort of furry Trigun-inspired roleplay together? It was short and kinda random but full of pretty awesome stuff. One of the races was a culture of jackal people who had been enslaved by creepy mask-wearing monsters. The slavers put weird jeweled eye thingies onto the chests of the jackals, which clutched their hearts and robbed them of their courage, meaning they couldn't fight back.

This character was called Zeth and even despite the evil device he could still muster enough courage to escape his captors, swearing to free his people. He uses the chains that once bound him as a weapon and I have it on good authority that he's fairly badass. While the party found and helped him when he was younger, this is a picture Nai did of a teenage Zeth against a starry sky.
