He fell asleep yesterday after we have been to the vet for the first time. Cannot say he liked it... but this picture sure is cute.

(For scale: the black thing on the left side is the foot of my couch, about 10-12 cm/4" high.)

He took the first shot pretty well, didn't seem to feel it, but he got the micro chip and he yelped really loudly. Poor little thing...

The vet's a really nice guy, I took great care when picking a vet. Been calling around and such...

I don't have many local vets so I really didn't get a choice. Luckily the closest proved to be very nice. Not that it mattered, my cat still didn't like her.

She really wouldn't get out of the carry box without me coaxing (or pulling) her out. Maybe because she never went to that vet till she was an adult cat. I don't know. But she was really freaked out. I don't think the car rides helped.

Poor little kitty. Cats are slightly stubborn as well so if they decide to be freaked out then they are freaked out and nothing will stop them.

Yeah, Skippy was always kinda flighty. If she didn't like something, she really didn't like it. At least she only expressed her fear with hissing rather than her claws.

Well, for now I'm happy when he sleeps a little, so I can do some stuff around the house. When he plays, he tends to nip at my hands and feet and I really hope he'll stop doing that soon... I am going to puppy training tonight so hopefully I can get some advice.

as for the accidents I do have one suggestion, when his does stick his nose in it. I know it might seem harsh but it worked for our pup you don't have to be mean babout it but enough so he knows that thats not okay. worked for our puppy.

I read that doing that can severely damage his nose and his ability to smell... so I would rather not
